This study explored the practice of competitive intelligence—across its strategic, technological, and collaborative dimensions—and its relationship to achieving competitive advantage in secondary schools in the Asir region, surveying 96 principals and deputies. Using a descriptive analytical and correlational approach, the findings revealed that both competitive intelligence practices and competitive advantage levels were high, with a positive and statistically significant correlation between them. The cooperative dimension showed the strongest link to competitive advantage, followed by the technological and then the strategic dimension. Results also indicated significant differences based on years of experience, favoring more experienced participants, and between private and government schools, with private schools ranking higher, while no differences were found by academic qualification. The study concluded that strengthening competitive intelligence practices is crucial for enhancing school performance and adaptability to educational changes, given their strong association with achieving competitive advantage.Downloads
