يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على جوانب الالتقاء والافتراق بين البلاغة والعرفانية، وبيان كيف تشتغل البلاغة عرفانيّا وكيف تشتغل العرفانيّة بلاغيّا. معتمدا على منهج استقرائي مقارن، وقُسم على محورين الأول: العرفانية والثاني: البلاغة والعرفانية، بالانطلاق من مكوّنات كلّ خطاب، وهي الإيتوس والباتوس واللوغوس فضلا عن السياق. ومن أهمّ النتائج المتوصّل إليها عمق الترابط بين البلاغة والعرفانيّة، وتعدّد مستويات التكامل بينهما، وكذلك المقاربة العرفانيّة تعميق نظريّ لما كانت بلاغة الحجاج قد أنجزته في دراستها للمكوّنات المساهمة في تشكيل الخطاب. وظهر ذلك العمق أساسا في كيفيّة معالجة الذهن للمعلومة، سواء عند المتكلّم وهو ينجز عمليّة حجاجيّة أو عند المتلقّي وهو ينجز عمليّة استيعاب واقتناع.
