Abstract

The study approaches the interaction between violence of the place and the place of violence and its manifestations in the structure of the novel. It shows its social connotations, and its relation with ideology, and how the place interacts with violence in the novel (mus'haf ahmar) and how it affects its structure, and it is clear how the story telling is dominated by describing the place of violence, and how it is sentenced by the ideology of characters that either practice or have been victims of violence. And that was depicted in the violence-contained scenes in a way that blended the real, also, the violent events spread out to contain both city and countryside.
