Abstract

The research aims to answer how the Holy Qur’an cared about the child and childhood, and what are the most important rights of the child that the Holy Qur’an has come with? What are the most important provisions for the child that the Holy Qur’an has come with, and how the Holy Qur’an gave the image of human role models by dealing with the childhood of some prophets. In order to answer this, the research will explore the followings: Evidence of the Qur’anic rooting and its interest in the child and childhood, highlighting the most important rights of the child that the Holy Qur’an cared about, knowing the most important provisions related to children and childhood from the noble Qur’anic texts, and highlighting the models of childhood that dealt with the Holy Qur’an represented by some of the prophets, peace be upon them? The research used the descriptive research approach in its analysis and interpretation of the verses of the Qur’an related to children and childhood, through objective interpretation in a scientific methodological manner. The research concluded that the Qur'anic rooting of children's rights is an established matter, and that the Holy Qur'an is the first to adopt the subject of child support and care and to establish his rights. Within the specific stages, the Holy Qur’an has arranged for the child unprecedented rights, and given him rights in various stages, and how great the Holy Qur’an approach was when it preserved the rights of children in Islam.
