Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the master's program in the field of Islamic education curricula and methods of teaching them in the Faculty of Education at Sana'a University. The researchers have used two tools; questionnaire from the point of view of the students who completed their study in the program, and the analysis form to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the program. The analysis carried out by the researchers for the program in the light of the list of criteria that must be available in the program, consisting of (52) items distributed over five areas (goals 11 items, content 11 items, educational experiences 11, evaluation 9, and education resources 10). The results have showed that the students' evaluations of the program are generally between average and weak. No item of any field was rated higher than that, such as “large”, “very large”, or “very poor”. The results revealed by the analysis were that all the aspects that were searched for were represented in the items of the analysis questionnaire, none of them received a high rating, except for one item, but all of them came under a medium or poor rating.
