Abstract

The study tends to identify the importance of using modern educational techniques by Islamic education teachers in teaching Islamic education in the last cycle of primary education in Dhamar city from the point of view of teachers and Mentors. It also attempts to find out if there are statistically significant differences between the average responses of mentors and teachers of Islamic education attributed to the benefit of mentors or teachers. The researcher follows the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire consisting of (47) items distributed on two axes (the importance of using modern educational technologies, and the obstacles to their use) was applied to a sample of (15) mentors and (30) teachers. After analyzing the data, the study has showed the following results: The importance of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education in the last cycle of basic education from the point of view of instructors to a large extent from the point of view of teachers to a large extent. There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample responses attributed to the mentors or to the teachers on the importance of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education.
