Journal Policies
Papers published in the journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. The journal allows content to be reused and paraphrased; as well as copying, redistributing, and publishing the papers in any medium or format.
The Journal Publication Policy:
- The journal adheres to the declared ethics of publication.
- The decision to accept the paper for publication is issued based on: the reports submitted by the reviewers and editors, the value of the scientific paper, the extent to which the approved publication conditions as well as the journal’s declared policy are met, and the paper’s principles of scientific honesty, originality and novelty
- The published view-points in the journal belongs to the authors only. They do not necessarily reflect the view-points of the journal.
- The researcher is provided with an acceptance letter for publication as soon as his/her paper obtains the final acceptance. The acceptance letter includes information like: the date of accepting the paper, the date of publication, and the number of the issue in which the paper will be published.
- The arrangement of papers in the issues is subject to technical criteria.
- Geographical diversity is taken into account in the published papers.
- Issues are published electronically on the journal’s website according to the publication specific time plan. They are made available for free unconditionally downloading immediately upon publication.
Editing, Peer-reviewing and Publishing Stages:
- The researcher undertakes that his/her paper is original, written by him/herself, and has not been previously published, or submitted for publication to any other party.
- Papers submitted for publication are subject to a preliminary examination by the editorial board to determine their suitability for the journal’s specialization and policy, their faultlessness in the scientific research procedures, and their eligibility for the scientific evaluation. The editorial board may reject accepting the whole paper or ask the researcher to amend it according to the journal’s policy before sending it to the reviewers.
- Paper reviewing aims to assess its originality and quality in order to improve it. This process is necessary to check the contents of the paper to ensure publishing high-quality research. The review takes place in successive stages stated below:
- After submitting the research, it is evaluated and edited by the specialized editor(s) to ensure its faultlessness and compliance with the conditions.
- The editor-in-chief, deputy editor or managing editor then certifies the validity of the request by evaluating the paper's quality and originality. It may be rejected at this stage if it does not comply with the followed standards, conditions and rules of conduct.
- The reviewers are chosen by the editor, his deputy, the editor-in-chief or the specialized editor. The review process shall be dual and
- The reviewers examine the paper and form an overall impression of it. If substantive problems are found, then it can be recommended that the paper be rejected. Substantive or minor modifications may also be recommended based on the type of problems the paper has, indicating all remarks needed to be reconsidered. The final report is submitted to the editor-in-chief with the proposed recommendations.
- The editor-in-chief reviews the reviewers reports, and in the event of a discrepancy in the reviewers’ remarks, the paper is referred to other reviewers for double checking before issuing the final decision on the paper. When the decision is taken, the reviewers’ reports are passed to the authors.
- The researcher is obligated to do the reviewers’ amendments in his/her paper according to the reports sent to him/her, and to provide the journal with an amended copy within a period not exceeding two weeks. The amendments shall be marked in a different color, and whatever the researcher has amended shall be explained in an attached form prepared for that. The researcher shall provide a justified response to any comments he/she does not agree with.
- The paper is returned to the reviewers when the recommendations are substantive; to know the extent of the researcher's commitment to what was asked of him/her. The editorial presidency/management undertakes the follow-up of the evaluation when the recommendation is to make minor modifications, and then the final verification is done, and the researcher is given a letter of acceptance for publication.
- After making sure that the paper is ready in its final form, it is sent for linguistic proofreading and technical review, and then forwarded to final production.
Plagiarism Policy:
All papers are subject to investigation and examination for plagiarism before they are sent for scientific evaluation. The researcher undertakes in writing to bear the legal and moral responsibility in the event that plagiarism appears or any of the content is taken from other researchers works without any reference to them.
Dealing with research misconduct:
The Journal takes serious steps to identify and prevent publication of papers in which research misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication.
