Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the methodology of al-Khalil ibn Ahmad al-Farahidi in citing Qur’anic evidence in the dictionary of al-Ain. It focuses on some of the Qur’anic evidence that al-Khalil relied on as models and analyses them in eight different sections of this research.
