The World Food Problem and its Solutions through Surah Yusuf

Abstract

This research studies the problem of providing global food, confront it, and develop solutions to it, drawing inspiration from what came in Surat Yusuf, peace be upon him. The research includes a preface and four domains inspired by the Holy Surah. The preface addressed the seriousness of the problem of food shortage and its dimensions, and the four domains addressed solutions to the problem as Surat Yusef, peace be upon him, has guided. These solutions are: managing the food problem and planning to solve it, providing food and increasing production, providing food through saving, rationalizing consumption and fairness in distribution, and providing food through trade exchange.
