Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, or use the full texts of articles for any other lawful purpose, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author. First: General rules for accepting research for arbitration
Scientific research should be characterized by originality and sound scientific methodology.
The research must not have been previously published or submitted for publication to another party, and the researcher must provide a written acknowledgment of this.
Research papers should be written in proper language, taking into account the rules of precision and accuracy of forms - if any - in Word format.
Research papers should be written in “Sakkal Majalla” font, size (15), for research in Arabic, and in “Sakkal Majalla” font, size (14) for research in English. The main titles should be in bold, size (14) and the space between the lines should be ( 5.1 cm), and the margin distance is (2.5 cm) on each side.
The research should not exceed (10,000) words and not less than (6,000) words, including figures, tables, and appendices.
The researcher must avoid plagiarism or quoting other people's phrases or ideas, without referring to their original sources.

The first page contains the research data, and the researcher writes in it the title in Arabic, the researcher’s name and job description, the institution to which he belongs, his email, and a translation of all of that into English, then a summary of the research in two columns: the first: Arabic. The second column translates the contents of the first column into English with the keywords.
The researcher explains the aim of the research, the methodology, and the most important results in the summary (provided that the two summaries in Arabic and English, each should not be more than 170 words, and not less than 120 words, in one paragraph, and keywords should be attached to them, not more than 6 words.
Introduction: The research contains an introduction in which the researcher reviews: an overview of the topic, previous studies, then what is new that the research will add in its field, the problem of the research, its objectives, its importance, its methodology, and the plan of its conduct in its research, in a coherent and sequential manner.
Results: Results are presented clearly and concisely.
Footnotes and references: Footnotes are documented at the end of research as follows:
The researcher begins in the margins by writing the author’s surname, then his proper name, then the year of publication, then the brief title of the research/book, publishing house, place of publication, then the part, if any, and if he does not find a part, he writes the page number directly, for example: Al-Muqri, 2009, Nafah Al-Tayeb, Dar Al-Kutub Al-Ilmiyya - Beirut, p. 1. Saussure, 2022, General Linguistics, Alam Al-Kutub - Amman, p. 100.
Sources and references are arranged alphabetically, provided that Al, Abu, and Ibn are not included in the order. Ibn Manzur, for example, is arranged with the letter M.

The journal's editorial board is responsible for informing the researcher of the receipt of his research, its approval for arbitration, or the amendment to it before approval for arbitration.
The journal's editorial board romanticizes and formats references after approving and reviewing them in their final form.
The journal's editorial board may amend texts in accordance with linguistic reviews.

The editor-in-chief shall inform the researcher of the receipt of his research, and that it will be approved for arbitration or amended before it is approved for arbitration.
Third: Arbitration and publishing procedures
After the research is approved for arbitration by the editor-in-chief or managing editor, it is referred to the arbitrators.
Research submitted for publication in a scientific journal is subject to anonymous double reviewer review.
The decision to accept the research for publication or not is issued based on the reports submitted by the reviewers and editors, and is based on the scientific value of the research, the extent to which the approved publishing conditions are met, and the declared policy of the journal. I found it based on the principles of scientific honesty and originality of research.
The editor-in-chief is responsible for informing the researcher of the reviewers’ decision regarding whether it is suitable for publication or not, or whether to make the recommended amendments.
The researcher is committed to making the amendments recommended by the referees and editors in the research according to the reports sent to him, within a period not exceeding one week.
The research is returned to the reviewers when the recommendations are substantive; To know the extent of the researcher’s commitment to what was asked of him. The editorial department undertakes to follow up on the evaluation when the recommendation is to make minor amendments, and then final verification takes place, and the researcher is given a letter of acceptance for publication, including the number and date of the issue in which it will be published.
After ensuring that the manuscript is ready in its final form, it is sent to linguistic and technical review, and then referred to final production.
The research is returned in its final form to the researcher before publication for final review and comments, if any, according to the form prepared for that purpose.
Issues are published electronically on the magazine’s website according to the time plan specified for publication, and are available for downloading for free and without conditions immediately upon publication.
Fourth: Publishing fees
Researchers pay publishing fees as follows:
Faculty members at Dhamar University pay an amount of (20,000) Yemeni riyals.
Researchers from inside Yemen pay (30,000) Yemeni riyals.
Researchers from outside Yemen pay $100 or its equivalent.
The amount will not be refunded if the research is rejected by the arbitrators.

Concerning researchers:
Submitting the research to the journal is subject to the researcher’s agreement to adhere to the standards and ethics of publishing set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). To view the standards in the following two links:

The researcher signs a declaration confirming his ownership of the research, the originality of his research, and that it has not been published previously or sent to another party for publication.
If the researcher becomes aware of any defect in his research, after sending it to the journal, or after publishing it, he must notify the editor-in-chief of this, and he must work to correct the defect.
The researcher must be responsive and work on any recommended amendments at any time from the stages of submitting the research to the journal until publishing the research or after its publication if necessary.
The researcher should avoid addressing topics that raise sectarianism, ethnicity, sectarianism, or partisanship.
The research published in the journal expresses only the opinions of the researchers.
The journal does not publish research that does not comply with these published standards, and if the journal discovers after publishing the research that its author does not adhere to these standards, it will remove the research from the journal’s website and the databases indexed in it, at any time it discovers this.
In accordance with the Code of Conduct, the journal will report any suspected cases of plagiarism or duplicate publication. It reserves the right to use plagiarism detection software to check submitted papers at any time.
As for the editors
The editor bears responsibility for selecting research that is suitable for publication in the journal and contributes to making appropriate decisions regarding that, and regarding copyright infringement and plagiarism. In the meantime, he consults with specialized referees and whomever he deems members of the journal’s advisory body.
The editor is also committed to the following:
Complete neutrality and objectivity regarding the research submitted to the magazine, so that it is considered regardless of the researcher’s race, gender, beliefs, or nationality.
Confidentiality, such that no information related to the research submitted to the journal is revealed, except to those authorized to do so by the journal’s administrative body and the journal’s advisory board, if necessary.
Integrity and fair dealing: He is required to ensure the integrity of the arbitrators whom he contributes to selecting, and he is careful not to reveal the identity of the researchers to the arbitrators and vice versa.
Contributing to the research and investigation processes regarding the integrity of the research submitted to the journal, ensuring its scientific integrity, making the necessary appropriate corrections, or rejecting and withdrawing the article when necessary. He looks into the complaints submitted if requested, follows up on them, and communicates with those he is assigned to communicate with regarding this.
As for the arbitrators:
Each research is sent to two arbitrators in the field of specialization, and when the research is rejected by one of them, it is sent to a third arbitrator in fairness to the researcher. His arbitration is decisive in the outcome of accepting the research or not. In all cases, the arbitration process is double-blind, so the researcher does not know who the arbitrator is, nor does the arbitrator know who the researcher is. .
The arbitrators will be from different universities and hold high academic titles (professor or associate professor).
The arbitrator is committed to scientific integrity in arbitrating research, and to refrain from any bias.
The arbitrator shall adhere to the time allotted to him, and if he encounters any problem, he must inform the editor-in-chief immediately.
The arbitrator is committed to complete confidentiality regarding the research entrusted to him for arbitration.
The arbitrator shall supplement his report with scientific evidence, and shall be committed to providing detailed comments on the research.
As for the magazine’s administrative body:
It follows the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
The policies of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) are a reference in scientific research ethics.
Ensure that research submitted for publication is evaluated, regardless of the gender, religious belief, or political affiliation of the author.
Maintaining the confidentiality of information related to research submitted for publication by people who can view it.
Commitment to giving the researcher sufficient opportunity to make the required amendments and answer the arbitrators’ questions.
Commitment to inform the researcher of the approval to publish his research, and the specific number for publishing it.
The editorial board may amend texts in accordance with linguistic revisions.
Researchers also always retain copyright. The research is licensed under an open Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which means that anyone may download and read the research for free. It is also permissible to reuse and quote the research provided that the original published source is cited. These conditions allow maximum use of the researcher's work and presentation.

The names of people and e-mail addresses saved on this magazine website will be used exclusively for the purposes stipulated by the magazine, and will not be available for any other purposes or to any third party.
