Traumaticwar experiences and itsrelationwith post-traumatic stress disorder among displaced children in Ibb governorate .Dr. AbdulraqeebAbduhHezam Al-Shamiri Abstract: This research aimed at identifying the level of traumatic war experienceamong displaced children in Ibb governorate andits relation with post-traumatic stress disorder.The sample consisted of (142) children of the displaced children in Ibb governorate. The results of the research indicated that the leveloftraumatic war experienceand post-traumatic stress disorderwere average. In addition, there was a positive relationwith a statistical significance between traumatic war experienceand post-traumatic stress disorder. Moreover, there were no statistically significant differencesin the level of traumatic war experience, and post-traumatic stress disorder and its fields due to the gender variableexcept traumatic experiencesretrieval field whichwere in favor of female.Inaddition,there were no statistically significant differences in the level of post-traumaticstressdisorderdue to the variable of period of displacement, and also there were no statistically significant differences dueto the variable of the place of displacement in the field of Traumatic experiences avoidance and the total degree for the scale; while there were differences in Traumatic experiencesretrieval and hyperarousalfields which were in favor of theresidents in rentalflats.Downloads
