The study aims at highlighting the period of interest of the official and unofficial Yemeni press in Jewish/Israeli affairs, which enhances the linkage of the people of Yemen to their cause (Palestine). The study was limited to following four newspapers published in the Republic of Yemen, two official newspapers: Al-Thawra and 14th of October, and two unofficial newspapers: Al-Thawri and Al-Sahwa. It was decided to track these newspapers over ten years, from 1991 to 2000 AD. This period was chosen because it was free from intense tension or armed confrontation between Arabs and Israel. The research has followed the content analysis approach, and a list of content analysis of the study sample newspapers was designed as a tool for the study, and this list included five elements. The research has concluded that continuity and persistence in dealing with issues and topics is the real test of governance, and accordingly, the official and unofficial Yemeni newspapers are equally not serious in dealing with issues and topics related to Jewish/Israeli affairs. The absence of continuity and the seasonal appearance of interest is what led to the verdict that the Yemeni press was not serious.
