The two thresholds (title and preface), in the novel Himar bain Al-Aghani "Donkey among Songs"

Abstract

This research explores the two thresholds; title and preface in the novel Himar bain Al-Agani "Donkey among Songs", by the novelist Wajdi Al-Ahdal. This novel was selected by the researcher due to its ironic style in the title that attracts a reader for reading the text. It also explores its secrets, and the emergence of descriptive initiation in its metaphorical form that occurs in the opening scene of the novel and in most of its parts, and has the function of reducing events and paving them.
