Complaints Policy
Al-Adab Journal for Linguistic and Literary Studies is committed to handling complaints in line with principles of transparency, fairness, and publication ethics.
What complaints may relate to
Complaints may concern editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, delays, conflicts of interest, or the conduct of authors, reviewers, or editors.
How to submit
Complaints must be sent in writing to the editorial office:
artslinguistic@tu.edu.ye
Please include a clear description of the issue and any supporting information.
Procedure
The complaint will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, the Managing Editor, or a person designated for this purpose. Members of the editorial board or independent experts may be consulted where necessary. In cases of conflict of interest, the complaint will be reassigned to another responsible officer.
Response time
Receipt of the complaint will be acknowledged, and a reasoned response will normally be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
Appeals
If necessary, appeals may be considered. Decisions following appeal are final.
Confidentiality
All complaints are treated confidentially and used, where appropriate, to improve editorial practice.
