Abstract

The study investigated how strategic bridging contributes to ecological manufacturing practices among construction companies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Adopting a descriptive analytical approach, data were gathered from 60 private sector decision makers through questionnaires and analyzed using PLS SEM. Results indicated that strategic bridging exerts a positive and statistically significant influence on eco industrialization (path coefficient = 0.352, t = 2.221, p = 0.050), though it accounted for only 12.4% of the variance. This modest explanatory power reflects the predominance of external market forces and the lack of stringent environmental legislation over internal voluntary strategies. Accordingly, the study recommends coupling corporate initiatives with binding governmental regulations to achieve a more effective transition toward green manufacturing.
