Al-Shamsiah School in Dhamar and the Role of Some of its Scholars and Students in Education and the National Movement in Yemen in the Modern and Contemporary Era

Abstract

This research studies the lesson and analysis, naming and establishing of Al-Shamsiah School in Dhamar, its name, and its establishments. It also highlights the students' homes and their subsistence, the subsistence of their teachers and the nature of the study in the school. It also mentions the school library, referring to examples of the scholars of Al-Shamsiah School and their educational and national dirhams, as well as the role of some students of the scientific and national school. It concludes students who came to Dhamar with the intention of knowledge would go to the Al-Shamsiah school because the scholars there were the famous and knowledgeable, and a number of those who studied in it practiced national roles in the contemporary history of Yemen.
