The current study sheds light on the main motifs that contribute to constructing the main character in Surat Yousef via inducing these motifs and how they effectively help revealing features of Yousef, as he is the main character of the story. Some linguistic techniques of narration are induced, represented in the construction and style of the text (the textual units), narration techniques (the narrator's style and the language used by the characters), and their contribution to highlight the main character. A bright representation of the main character is portrayed as a leading character that has several leading characteristics through which some features of a wise leader are introduced. The story reveals several features that a leading character has which can be explicit in Yousef's life as a human being and not as a prophet by following the development of Yousef's character and focusing on his physical and moral features that appear during the sensitive situations he faced in his life.Downloads
