Criteria of Poetic Choices in Al-Mubarid’s Book Al-Kamel

Abstract

This research paper is based on the poetic choices in Abu al-Abbas Al-Mubarid’s book Al-Kamel Fi Allugha Wal Adab (The Complete Book in Language and Literature) in order to determine the most important critical standards that he adopted in his poetic choices. It reviews how they are characterized with a new vision based on overcoming the basis of time in the choice of the poet, resorting to the quality of the poetic texts to, thus, come in line with the taste of the age and the language of new generations.
