This research aims at exploring the Quran treatment to Al-takfir (i.e. disbelieving) phenomenon that companies the Islamic community either today or in the past. A lot of Islamic complexes have handled this topic without looking at the bad consequences of kicking out a Muslim from his religion and hence results in pulling out the family and religious relationships. The study is divided into introduction and three sections. The first section deals with alkofr 'disbelieving' and the means of considering a Muslim disbeliever. This was discussed under five subsections. The second section deals with treating the lesion of Al-takfir 'disbelieving', and it was discussed under two subsections. The third section is devoted to present the way that media deals with the issue of Al-takfir 'disbelieving' and its spreading. According to the nature of the study, we used the descriptive method with slight use of the historical methods at the time of need. At last part of the study was a conclusion in which we present the results as follows: 1. Al-takfir ' disbelieving' is a dangerous and a passive Islamic phenomenon. 2. Misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the sharia texts are the main reasons behind Al-takfir 'disbelieving'. 3. Some forms of the modern media stands behind the issue of 'disbelieving'. 4. The personal fatwa is very dangerous on the unity of Islamic community and is considered to be reason behind Al-takfir 'disbelieving'.Downloads
