Abstract

The research aims to highlight the Islamic view about the human being in terms of his centrality and position in the life, his impact and being influenced in the life, and the relationship of that to the Western materialist view. The method used in this research is the descriptive analytical method based on data collection from its sources; in order to achieve the research objectives. The research consists of an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction deals with the basics of the research. The first chapter discusses the position of human in life. The second chapter shows the challenges faced by the human in life. The third chapter reveals the role of human in life. The fourth chapter was a discussion and conclusion. The research concluded that the centrality of human is a scientific and practical centrality, dynamic, interacting with the environment in terms of the development, management and care, in order to achieve worldly and eschatological happiness in Islamic view, unlike the western view, which is limited to worldly interests only.
