This study has been conducted to evaluate the biological effects of Fumonisin B1, which is one of the most important mycotoxins secreted by Fusarium moniliforme. The results of the biological evaluation has showed that one-day-old Fabro broiler chicks were using 3 contamination levels of FB1 in the diet, which is 100 mg/kg of FB1 to the normal diet. The results have showed an increase in the negative effects in the weights of the birds by increasing the concentrations of FB1. The average weight of the birds at the end of the third week was 376.33 g and 224.37 g at the concentrations of 300 and 400 µg/g, respectively, while it was 571.66 g in the comparison treatment. It was also found an increase in the relative weights of the internal organs of both the liver and the kidneys at both concentrations. Activated charcoal inhibited the negative effects of FB1 on all biochemical properties of avian blood plasma.
