The Importance of self-education Skill in the educational and social field from a Contemporary Point of View

The research aims to identify the self-learning in terms of its concept, the development of its methods, and the justifications for adopting self-learning methods according to their characteristics and design steps. The research procedures are summarized in reviewing the literature of the fields and summarizing everything related to the research questions in the form of a documented card in an effort to answer them, and reviewing previous research and writing each axis in its initial form. The research relies on the analytical descriptive approach, and has been limited to a documented analytical descriptive study of self-learning and some of its skills as a contemporary trend in the field of education in terms of its concept, development, foundations, and its justifications. The research has concluded that the nature of the age requires man to master many skills necessary to face the changes of the age. The research has been able to address the problem of learning skill and clarify its concept, development, learning foundations, justifications and learning methods, and confirms that self-education will have an effective role if it is adopted in the educational curricula in Yemen.
