Abstract

The research tends to study Islamic education in the curricula of Yemeni school, a systematic legislative study, and to diagnose its current situation and suggesting proposals and solutions to the shortcomings that have occurred to overcome it. The research has been divided into an introduction and four chapters. The first chapter has discussed Islamic education. The second chapter deals with educational goals from the Islamic perspective. The third chapter deals with the reality of Islamic education in the educational curricula. The fourth chapter concerns with presenting proposals and solutions to the problem of the cognitive and functional deficiencies of religious education in the educational curricula from the researcher's point of view. The second part of the research will be published in an upcoming issue.
