'NOT' its uses and connotations in Al-Baradoni's poetry

Abstract

The research aims to clarify the status and cases of 'NOT'through observing its uses and connotations in Abdullah Al-Bardoni's poetry. We have tried to compare between the theorization description developed by the grammarians of 'NOT' and the reality of its current use. The research has relied on the descriptive and normative approaches for describing, analyzing, and interpreting the grammatical phenomenon and analyzing it grammatically and semantically. The research has been divided into two sections and a preface. The prefacehas included an introduction about the research; its importance, objectives, steps, methodology and resources. The first section has discussed the patterns of the negative sentence with 'NOT' in Al-Bardoni's poetry. However, the second section has explored the analysis of the negative sentence system with 'NOT' in Al-Bardoni's poetry. The whole research has ended with a conclusion that has showed the most important results,and resources and references.
