Abstract

This study deals with the 'Intertextuality in the Literature of Translating Narration in the book "Qalaed Al-eqyan" by Fateh Ibn Khaqan as it addresses overlapping of the races and the texts are stuck in the "Qalaed Al-eqyan". This includes the Quranic, literary and historical intertextuality. The researcher has reached a number of results out of which are: Intertextuality occurred in Al- Qalaed on three models. The translated text benefitted from the Holly Quran and quoted some of its verses to employ them in new contexts. It has also intertexted with Arabic literature; in poetry and prose, and takes a lot of benefits from the historical reference without losing its distinguished touch as a literary and non-verse speech.
