This study aims to elucidate the general objectives of Sharia, their classifications, and the specific objective of preserving life, underscoring the role of these overarching Sharia objectives in safeguarding family security and the relationship between the preservation of life and family security. Employing an inductive-analytical methodology, the study is structured into an introduction, a preamble, and two main sections. The preamble defines Sharia objectives and their classifications. The first section addresses the preservation of life in terms of its existence and its relationship to family security, highlighting manifestations such as the injunction to marry, breastfeeding, custody, and financial support for children. The second section discusses the preservation of life in terms of preventing harm, covering prohibitions against killing, female infanticide, abortion, threats to life, and regulations on disciplinary corporal punishment. Findings reveal that a direct relationship exists between Sharia objectives and family security, as the preservation of religion, life, honor, intellect, and wealth underpins familial stability and safety. The preservation of life, in particular, significantly contributes to family security; its neglect disrupts familial harmony.
