“The Window”: A Poem in the Contemporary Yemeni poetry Graphic Reading in the Poetry Collection of The Book of Sana'a as a Model

This research aims to study the manifestations of the window in "The Book of Sana’a by the Yemeni poet Abdul Aziz Al-Maqaleh. The window is not considered in the city as a decorative horizon that occupies a spatial space, but rather it is a symbol of civilized communication with identity and belonging. It is just as the city Sanaa linked to the window as a heritage landmark, in the book Sana’a has been associated with the meaning of the window. The window outside the text has a formal aesthetic level inspired by its architecture, and inside the text it has also a rhetorical connotations.Downloads
