Abstract

This research aims to analyze housing conditions in Yemen in terms of its geographical distribution and characteristics. There are many problems regarding housing in Yemen such as its types, sizes and the future visions. The research depends on the results of the first report of General statistics issued in March 1996 AD. It concludes that for every family there is approximately one house, but there is a discrepancy between rural and urban, and between governorates, and that the housing stock in Urban is technically better than countryside.
