The Department of Psychology: Reality and Ambition

Abstract

This research aims at exploring the difficulty of establishing the Psychology Department at the Faculty of Arts at Dhamar University. It shed light on the history of the emergence of the psychology department and the reality of the current department and to identify its future ambitions. The researcher recommends that it is necessary to follow the admission process according to the specialized conditions and specifications and to take advantage of the voluntary initiative of the faculty members in the Department of Psychology, to provide a laboratory for the department in the future, and to inform the community of the importance of the graduates of this department.
