A Critical study of Bamkharrama’s Resources in The History of the Gap of Aden

Abstract

This study deals with the resources of Bamakhrama in his book (The History of the Gap of Aden), from a historical critical study, focusing on the sources Makhrama got in order to show their historical value, and the methods of using them and their types, whether they were prior to him or his contemporary works. And the researcher concluded that Bamakhrama had simulated in his book his previous authors who were interested in the history of cities such as Aden. Although he relied on two main sources, he was able to diversify these sources as much as possible.
