Abstract

This paper discusses the development of the societies movement and the civilization challenge of Ibn Khaldun, through his pioneering ideas and propositions in this field, considering that Ibn Khaldun is a holistic scientist. Through his study of the philosophy of history, he was able to extract a law that governs the movement of societies, which is the law of the three phases, the phase of emergence and formation, the phase of maturity and completion, the phase of pyramid and aging, and he concluded that Ibn Khaldun, in his historical interpretations of the movement of society and the civilization challenge, adopted the concept of civilizational succession in society and the state, And he gave a unique explanation for the nervousness, explaining its internal contradiction.
