The purpose of this study is to reveal the influence of the narrators in Habib Sorori's novel (Damlan) through its language and style. Any novel must have narrator to generate the narrative. There are two kinds of narrators: internal narrator (subjective) and external narrator (objective). When a novelist chooses one of these types to create the narrative, this choice has great effects and influence on the language and style of the narrative. That is to say, language is the tool of expression that reveals the psychological and intellectual depth of personality; given the fact that the novel is a genre that is open to all kinds of genres and dialects or linguistic levels.Downloads
