The Importance of International News Agencies in the Media

This paper discusses the impact and role of the news agencies on the daily flow of news in local and international newspapers, and TV channels; and their impact on some agendas worldwide. The main objective of a news agency is to deliver information from the authorized and original resources applying the latest communicative technologies in order to facilitate the process of news flow at the lowest cost. The research is divided into three sections discussing the concept of agencies and their establishment as well as reviewing the most prominent global agencies and their impact on the Arab agencies in the collection of information. The conclusion of this research discusses the challenges and future of news agencies under the current technological development and the high speed of delivering information.Downloads
