Abstract

This paper focuses on both concept and procedure of poetics in Western and Arab studies to clarify its shortcomings and introduce a new vision. To achieve these objectives, an analytical descriptive approach has been used. However, a number of findings have been revealed of which the significant ones were: - Poetics in its pure sense is not determined by unified figure with Western and Arab researchers. - There is a lack of applying poetics in texts because it is mostly discussed from a textual angel. In rare cases, it goes beyond text. - This paper has introduced a new vision on poetics in regard to meaning and procedure, collecting more than one poetic dimension of poetics when analyzing texts. This vision can be used by researchers.
