Abstract

This study aimed to identify the functional combustion and its impact on the level of psychological capital of the employees of the General Hospital of Dhamar. The sample of the study was (230) single, and it was (40%) of the total society of (570). The researcher used the statistic program for social sciences (SPSS) for analysis. The study shows that the perceptions of workers of the dimensions of combustion of the job came to a medium degree, while their perceptions were high in level of psychological capital. The study concludes that there is a significant impact of statistical combustion of job through the emotional exhaustion, and achievement dimension on the psychological capital of the hospital staff with a standard rate ( 8%). The results of the study also show no statistical significant differences are shown in the employees' views on the effect of functional combustion on their psychological capital due to the following variables: (age, years of service in the current job) , The nature of the job), while there were statistically significant differences in the views of the workers on the effect attributed to the variables: (gender and scientific qualification), for females and PhD respectively.
