The Impact of Applying the Enterprise Resource Planning System on the Administrative and Financial Performance in the Yemeni Universities: A Case study of Thamar University

This study aimed to identify the level of adoption of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and its impact on the quality of administrative and financial performance in Thamar University. The sample of the study included (102) members of the academic and administrative staff at the supervisory and executive levels in the University. A questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. Only 98 questionnaires were returned for statistical analysis. The researcher used appropriate statistical methods for analyzing data and testing the research hypotheses by processing the collected data through SPSS. The results of this study revealed that the level of adopting the resource planning system was high, with a statistically significant effect of ERP system on the administrative and financial performance at Thamar University. Based on the results of this study, there is a definite need for supporting the idea of adopting the financial supply planning systems as well as the financial and administrative resources management system to improve the level of administrative and financial performance.Downloads
