Motivations behind the use of social network by the Community College Students / Al-Dhalea

This study aimed to know the Motives for the use of social communication network by Students community college in the province of Al-Dhalea, sample of the study consisted of (46) students who used social communication networks, The researcher adopted the Analytical descriptive method, The tool of study was the questionnaire of motives, after Testing the validity and reliability it was applied to (46) students in faculty, Analysis of Results showed that:
- The politically motives were more than a reason for the using of students social Communication networks, with an average (2.68),while the motives of entertainment less than the motives in the use of students with an average (2.14).
- The whatsApp was more social networks use by (100%), as for less social networks use by the students was the YouTube by (54.3%).
- Usage Time most frequent for social networks communication was 1-2 hours while the Usage time at less frequent was less than an hour.
- There are statistically significant differences in the motives of using social networks due To sex variable, were differences in favor of males.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the motives of using social networks due to study level and specialization variables.
