The Degree of Job Satisfaction among Academic at Jadara University in Irbid Governorate and its Impact on Improving Job Performance

This study aimed to reveal the degree of job satisfaction among academic leaders and faculty members at Jadara University in Irbid governorate and its impact on improving job performance. The job satisfaction scale was used in this study, prepared by the researcher. The sample of the study consisted of (142) academic leaders and faculty members at Jadara University, were selected purposely. The results of the study showed the degree of job satisfaction among academic leaders and faculty members, was moderate. The results indicated there were no differences in degree of job satisfaction, attributed to variables (gender, specialization, academic rank, and experience), and there was positive impact of job satisfaction in improving job performance.
