Abstract

As a result, this study aimed to investigate cases of infectious people and the average of healthy and cultural knowledge of AIDS disease in Yemen. Therefore, the method used for that proposes was the analytical and descriptive methods by using a questionnaire form after arbitration by college professors. The sample was chosen from citizen in Albayda region in 2017, 2018. A total number of 98 participants were selected randomly taking into account the social and educational properties as the age, gender, qualification, marital status, etc. The results indicated the official registered number of infections in Yemen is 266 cases compromised of foreigners and Yemenis of both sexes. It is found that 98% of the respondents are aware of the dangers of the disease and that 90% know that the disease is contagious. While 62.2% of the responses state that this disease can't be treated up to now, 23.5% of the respondents don't know whether this disease can be treated or no. A percentage of 56% is given for the respondents' ignorance of which category is more highly infected with respect to age, however, with respect to gender sensitive for disease 18% and 19% for men and women are given respectively.
