Abstract

The study deals, analytically with a new Sabaean Inscription, one of these inscribed in Al-Mehrath calligraphic on a board made of limestone. It has been discovered recently at a mountainous area called Sablat ʿabis which belongs to Ḥaddah village, Wadi Al-Ḥar, ʿns District (Dhamar Governorate). The observer of the inscription may notice that it has a religious content. The Inscription had been dated according to event related to agricultural activities and an incident which talks about war conflict. The importance of the inscription lies in the fact that it has not been shown before and the new lexicons which are mentioned for the first time. Additionally, the religious datum indicated by the inscription and its historical implications which take their importance from the inscription's site.  They paper studies all the lexicons found in the inscription and their dictionary derivations to illustrate their semantic implications whether known or discovered for the first time.
