Obstacles in the application of Electronic Management at Taiz University from the point of view of Academic and Administrative Leaders

The research aims to explore the severity of the administrative, human, technical and financial obstacles that impede the application of electronic management at Taiz University from the point of view of the academic and administrative leaders. The research is limited to identifying the degree of severity of the administrative, human, technical and financial obstacles that impede the application of electronic management at Taiz University from the point of view of the academic and administrative leaders of the mother university without; the sub-faculties who are dean, deputy dean, center director, heads of departments and general manager in the academic year 2010-2011. The research concludes that the biggest technical obstacles that impede the application of electronic administration at Taiz University, from the perspective of the respondents, are the weakness of electronic data and information protection systems and programs and the ease of penetration and access. In addition, due to the absence of coordination between computers centers in the various units and departments of the university.
