Nickel (II) and Coper (II) dithiocarbamate complexes of general of fomula M (Rdtc) 2. The present paper describes the Synthesis and spectral properties of similar complexes of the following new dithiocarbamate ligands, cyclohexyldithiocarbamate (Chex Dtc), dicyclohexyldithiocarbamate (DchexDtc). The Complexes have been characterized on the basis of analytical data magneto chemical, conductivity measurements, electronic and infrared spectroscopies as square planar Nickel (II), Coper (II) compounds. The Result of the spectroscopic studies indicates that the dithiocarbamate ligand is always bidentate.
All the complexes are non-conducting in DMF solution
