The study aims to identify the level of environmental knowledge among the students of the scientific departments, Faculty of Education, Thamar University. For reaching better results of the study, it was carried out according to the methodological steps trying to answer the following main question: What is the level of environmental knowledge among the students of the Faculty of Education, Thamar University? In order to answer this, a list of environmental information was built, as that list included (35) environmental concepts and terms in its initial form. This list was limited to (150) samples; male and female students from the first level of the scientific departments. Each student was asked to give an appropriate definition for each of those concepts. After getting back those lists from the sample members and after using the appropriate statistical analysis, the study reached a clear decline in the environment information presented in the information list. These results were clarified in the body of the study in the form of tables, polygons and graphs supported by the necessary statistical data from such cases.
