Abstract

The study aims to identify the values in the national education curriculum in the Republic of Yemen for the academic year 2006-2007 AD, and the features of their distribution to the vocabulary of the basic stage classes. In order to reach the results of the study, as it proceeded according to methodological steps, including answering the following questions; what are the features of distributing the required values on the vocabulary of the basic stage classes in the curricula of the Republic of Yemen? To answer them, a list of the main values and their branches was built, as the list included eight main values and sixty-five sub-values in its initial form. After the list was presented to the arbitrators, the subsection was refined and modified until it became (60) values only in its final form. That list was downloaded for the purpose of analysis on the sample of the study, which is represented in the methodological books for the subject of national education in the schools of Dhamar governorate. After using the appropriate statistical analysis, the study reached a number of recommendations, such as attention evaluation and follow-up and the inclusion of a number of teaching methods in textbooks, as well as an attempt to create a kind of balance between the distributions of values to the classrooms in the basic stage. This was clarified in a table of values for each classroom separately.
