The present study aimed at showing a Muslim how to maintain the structure of the Qur'an, with its various readings, it is necessary to understand a set of sciences, known today as the sciences of Qur'anic readings. These sciences include the science of chains of narration (isnad), the science of Arabic language, the science of pronunciation and recitation, the science of numbers, and the science of stopping and starting (waqf and ibtida'). These sciences are symbolized by the phrase "sa'adon baron": The letter "seen" represents the science of chains of narration, the letter "Ayn" represents the science of Arabic language, the letter "dal" represents the science of numbers, and the letter "baa'" represents the science of starting (opposite to stopping). The letter "ra'" represents the science of pronunciation and recitation, which is also known as the science of regulation. This study is an attempt to approach these five sciences within the context of two renowned schools of Qur'anic readings throughout history: the Yemeni school and the Moroccan school. Through this study, there is an inspiration to contribute to the establishment of a scientific methodology that ensures the preservation of this Qur'anic structure. This methodology aims to bridge the Yemeni and Moroccan arenas, and foster cooperation and collaboration between traditional and academic approaches to teaching the readings in both countries. This descriptive study is divided into three sections. The first section provides an introduction to the sciences of Qur'anic readings. The second section describes the methodologies of teaching the sciences of Qur'anic readings in the Yemeni Qur'anic school. The third section focuses on the methodologies of teaching the sciences of Qur'anic readings in the Moroccan Qur'anic school. The study concludes with a proposed program for teaching the readings in academic institutions, which encompasses the issues, objectives, and sciences of Qur'anic readings.
