This research deals with the topic of supplication in Arab heritage, through the book dedicated to Ibn Sayyidah al-Mursi (458 AH). Supplication is one of the arts of our Arabic language, past and present, and it is closely related to the emotions, hopes, sorrows and desires of people and its meanings are crystallized in them. The researcher has relied on the descriptive and analytical method. The methods of supplication were mentioned in the Custom Dictionary, and analyzed them linguistically as classified based on the nature of the sentences; made the actual sentences as a chapter, the nominal sentences as a chapter and a semi-sentence as a chapter. The study has included a statement of the general meaning of the formation of the supplication and an analysis of its components that consist of it and an explanation of the meanings of the main terms included in it.Downloads
