The Role of Communication Skills in Enhancing Knowledge Access among Graduate Students at King Saud University: A Field Study

The study investigated how communication skills contribute to improving knowledge accessibility among male graduate students at King Saud University, framing communication as a vital mechanism for knowledge dissemination. Using a descriptive survey method and a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 314 students, the research assessed various communication competencies. Findings revealed strong agreement regarding the importance of writing and expression skills (average 4.27) and speaking and talking skills (average 4.32), while reading and comprehension (4.09) and listening and attention (4.17) were also positively rated. Overall, communication skills were deemed effective in facilitating knowledge sharing and availability, with an average agreement score of 3.79.
