The Impact of Total Quality Management on Improving Institutional Performance in Private Hospitals in the Capital, Sana’a

This study examined the influence of Total Quality Management (TQM) on enhancing institutional performance in private hospitals located in Sana’a City, employing a descriptive-analytical methodology and utilizing questionnaires for data collection. The sample comprised 10 private hospitals, with 211 medical and administrative staff participating. Findings revealed a significant positive impact of TQM on institutional performance, alongside high levels of both TQM implementation and overall performance within these hospitals. The study recommended greater emphasis on TQM as a holistic organizational strategy driven by senior management to deliver continuously improving healthcare services, prioritize beneficiary needs, base decisions on reliable data, and strengthen employee training to elevate institutional effectiveness.
