A Proposed Framework for Activating the Delphi Method in Enhancing Social Services

Abstract:
This study aims to propose a framework for activating the Delphi method to improve social services. Classified as a future-oriented exploratory study, it adopts a comprehensive social survey methodology based on the Delphi method. This approach is applied through the management of field research and training at the Center for Social Studies and Development in the Riyadh region, affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. A questionnaire was utilized as the primary data collection tool, validated through reliability and validity procedures. The reliability coefficient, calculated using Cronbach’s alpha for the questionnaire’s dimensions, yielded an overall value of (.8230). The study key findings showed that there were statistically significant differences among theoretical requirements. However, no statistically significant differences were found among practical requirements in the proposed framework for activating the Delphi method to enhance social services. These outcomes were analyzed in relation to the variables of job designation and years of experience within the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
