This research aims to discuss the educational and cultural conditions in the Habailiya Emirate in Beihan, which was one of the emirates, sheikhs and sultanates of southern Yemen during the period of the British occupation of Aden 1839-1967. The research also reveals the British policy from southern Yemen and its imposition of backwardness and the lack of interest in education and culture. It has followed the early beginnings of education in this emirate, and concluded that government education entered this emirate after World War II. However, this was a result of the British policy need for some scribes and citizens.Downloads
